  7. Place a spoonful of fruit preserves in the center of half the circles.
  8. Top with the remaining circles and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let the pastries cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Yields: 12 pastries
