  • 400g of your favorite pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (400g) of diced tomatoes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
  4. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve hot, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
