Sweet and spicy fried tofu recipe by Salinda Nguyen

This is my favorite way to cook tofu! Sweet and spicy fried tofu! 🌶 This tastes the best when it’s eaten right after it’s been made! It’ll still taste good afterwards, but you’ll lose the crispy texture.
I can’t give you exact measurements as I just basically wing it.

    Cut the tofu into smaller squares, coat in cornstarch, and then fry with the sesame oil

    Mix together the sugar (I like to use Swerve for sugar whenever I cook/bake), soy sauce, maple syrup, sriracha, and some cornstarch

    Remove tofu from pan

    Cook the garlic and green onions until fragrance is released

    Pour in the sauce and mix around until it has thickened a bit (it becomes like a glaze)

    Toss in the fried tofu and mix!

    It’s best eaten with rice of course. 😁 Personally, I like spiiiiiiiiicyyyyyy so I add in Thai chilies as well 🌶🥵
