2 tbsp Screw Pine
2,5 L Red Chili Powder
1 tbsp AP flour

Sauté onions in olive oil until softened and slightly colored, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Throw in beans and stir through. Add tomato paste, water and salt. Bring to boil, then simmer for roughly 1-1.5 hours,,
stirring every now and then. Check on beans for softness and you’ll know they’re ready.

Sauce will also reduce. If you need to add more water, do so little by little.

Delicious comfort food. To be eaten with bread or Lebanese rice
